In reliance upon the gospel of Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we seek to do this by:
Connecting people to God.
Every human being is created to be in relationship with God. By telling God’s story faithfully and creatively we desire to be a place where the community of First Presbyterian Church and the larger community around us can connect their stories to God’s story and find their true identity in Christ.
Connecting people to One Another.
The good news of the gospel creates a community like no other. God uses the deep relationships of the church to grow and nurture us in the faith and to be a foretaste of the Kingdom of God here on earth. We desire to be a place that is connecting with one another in order to be the body of Christ in all the beautiful ways the Bible teaches us to be.
Connecting people to the Community Around Us.
First Presbyterian Church does not exist for our own sake but because God has something He desires to do with and through us. We desire to be a place that is constantly connecting with the residents of Grays Harbor by listening to their stories and selflessly serving this community, and beyond, with the hope, healing and restoration that is found in the good news of Jesus.
